I Am Being Raised

I cannot believe it is March already!  We have several exciting things happening in the Little Figs family right now, including the launch of our Spring 2013 line.  This line is for open minded parents that want to clad their kids in thoughtful clothing with sayings that embody love and understanding.  Check out our entire line at www.littlefigs.com.

 The above image is of our "I Am Being Raised With An Open Heart & Mind" on a cinder color t-shirt with black ink.  It is also available in a one-piece (below left).

 We are extremely proud to have our children wearing these shirts when we take them out and about:) 

This "Happy In Our Nest" image is my first attempt at a two screen print!  I am really happy with the results.  It is subtle, warm, and cozy...

"My Moms Rule" is an image that I designed for children to wear that have two mommies:)

Second, we are being featured again in the April issue of Curve magazine!!  We are very grateful to be in their Family Issue, so pick one up if you get to a bookstore that carries it!  

Third, I have designed an organic fabric line for Moda Fabrics called "Little Things."  It coordinates with a lot of my Little Figs designs.  I am very excited for this line to hit the stores!!

Inside Little Figs' Studio

Welcome!! Mary and I are so excited to invite you into our studio and give you a little glimpse into what Little Figs is all about!!

Our board of inspiration!!!  Our wonderful photographer Amanda Williams took these photos of the adorable Little Figs apparel models!

First, I choose a screen from our wall of screens! So many cute images to choose from!  They are all hand drawn and burned onto a screen, then they are ready to print!

This is me (Arrin) having fun in the studio:)

Then, I put the screen on my registering table!!  I really love this part!

Next, I put environmentally friendly ink on the screen and then I pull the print!!

Finally, the shirt has a wonderful children's image on it!  This is a newly printed shirt!  So cool!

This is Mary's ironing station to heat set the shirts after we print them:)

This is our inventory section...these are full of shirts already printed, heat set, and ready to ship.

Thanks for visiting!!  We truly love going to our studio and printing Little Figs stuff!!  It is so fun and we are so passionate about what we do!

THANK YOU to everyone that has supported us over the past 12 months while we have been getting ready to open Little Figs!!!  We are so excited to start this new adventure, we could just burst!!  This is our dream coming true...

WE ARE INSPIRED by our amazing twin boys everyday!  We have been so lucky to be home over the holidays with them, and they make us laugh constantly!  They are 2 1/2 yrs. old and we came up with the Little Figs name by combining their first names Finn + Graham = "Figs".

Graham is on top in his bike shirt and Finn is on the bottom in his Trekking Twins shirt!

Thanks again to ALL of our parents, siblings, and friends for helping us more than you will ever know!
